Deputy MD of ECG ends familiarization tour

As part of efforts to ensure that there is efficiency and quality delivery of service to customers by staff of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), Deputy Managing Director in-charge of Customer Service, Mr Kwame Agyeman-Budu, has paid a working visit to15 Operational Business Centres of ECG in the Ashanti Region, to interact with them.

The visit was to familiarise himself with the staff and also to encourage them to be dedicated and committed to the course of ECG, since their livelihoods depend on the company.

The visit of the Deputy MD to the 15 Operational Business Centres brought to a total of 83 centres he had visited since July this year.

Mr Kwame Agyeman-Budu used the opportunity to share with the staff, some principles and tools he believed would help them to improve on their responsibilities.

He underscored the need for them to “plan the work and work the plan, communicate openly, ensure safety first, engage in teamwork, improve continuously, focus on the customer, celebrate success and reward, as well as accept responsibility.”

He was confident that their skills and extensive service to ECG, combined with their continuous effort, commitment, and willingness to support the Revenue Collections Mobilization effort, would reflect in increase in revenue in 2019.

Mr Agyeman-Budu, who was glad he could visit the 83 operational areas, thanked the leadership of Ashanti Regional ECG for their warm reception to him.
