Claudia Kwarteng Lumor, CEO of Glitz Africa, has achieved a significant milestone by earning a Master of Science in Defence and International Politics from the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC).
On August 26, 2024, Lumor took to social media to share her excitement and reflect on her educational journey.
She expressed that this accomplishment was particularly meaningful as it served as a powerful example for her children.
Lumor noted, “I’ve never participated in graduation ceremonies before, whether at KNUST or the University of Westminster Law School in London. But with this Master’s degree, it was essential for me to be present. This graduation symbolizes not just personal achievement but serves as a benchmark for my children.”
In her post, she conveyed a strong message: “This photo in my graduation robe is a testament to my belief that this level of achievement is the minimum standard I expect from my children. It represents both my dedication and my hope for them.”
She also highlighted the broader impact of her accomplishment: “Earning this degree demonstrates that pursuing your dreams is always possible, regardless of age or circumstances.
“Every small step brings you closer to your goals. I hope my story motivates you to follow your passions with bravery and self-assurance.”
This latest degree complements her impressive academic background, including a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Law from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Corporate Finance Law degree from the University of Westminster Law School in London.
In addition to her role as a distinguished entrepreneur, Lumor served as a UN Ambassador for Ghana (UNFPA) and is recognized as a Ghana Tourism Ambassador for Fashion Development.
