A Kia truck transporting charcoal from Damongo, the capital of the Savannah Region, and traveling southward, has been involved in a collision.
The incident occurred between Fufulso and Busunu in the West Gonja Municipal area of the Savannah Region.
According to DCOP Baba Peter, the Regional Police Commander leading the Savannah Regional Police Command, there have been no reported fatalities.
However, he urged caution among drivers, especially those operating heavy trucks, emphasizing the importance of preserving lives, even if it means navigating through gutters at times.

DCOP Baba mentioned that efforts are underway by the police to clear the truck from the roadway, relocating the charcoal to a safer location.
