Brobbey, a product of Ajax’s youth system, initially departed for RB Leipzig on a free transfer but returned to Ajax later on. Since his return, Brobbey has been an impressive performer, tallying 21 goals and 10 assists in 39 matches.

The talented striker believes he is nearing his peak and harbours ambitions of achieving significant milestones in his career, including representing a top football club and featuring for the Dutch national team in the European Championship.

Brobbey is confident that a strong showing at the Euros will enhance his value and allow him to repay Ajax for their faith in him.

“If I can score a goal at the European Championship, I will promote myself even more and increase my value,” he said.

“I have always said: I am going to pay Ajax back. Of course, I left, but they brought me back. I want to make sure I have been worth it, by playing well for my club and scoring goals,” he added.
