Breaking: Kejetia Market on fire

Information reaching our news desk is that Kejetia Market in Kumasi of the Ashanti Region has caught fire.

Per reports, the Dubai section of the market caught fire at 4:30pm.

It is currently unknown the damages caused by the fire and what exactly led to the incident. But some individuals are said to have collapsed and have been transported to the Komfo Ankoye Teaching Hospital.

Officers of the Ghana National Fire Service are currently at the scene to douse the flames. Also, the Ambulance Service is present to offer first aid service.

Traders are busily salvaging items that have not been torched.

According to reports, the fire is currently under control.
