Ghanaian media personality Bridget Otoo has once again criticized the government for the deteriorating economic conditions faced by Ghanaians.
Amid the rising cedi, Otoo took to her social media to lambast the Bank of Ghana (BOG) for its handling of the depreciating currency.
The BOG proposed that stopping foreign exchange bureaus from advertising rates outside their premises and on social media platforms is a way to stabilize the cedi.
Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam also noted that market speculations about the cedi negatively affect its value.
Otoo accused the BOG on her social media page of lacking effective strategies to regulate the cedi.
