Renowned music executive Mathew Knowles, who is also the father of global music sensation Beyoncé, has expressed his admiration for Caveman Watches, a Ghanaian watchmaker, after receiving a customized Beyonce Caveman watch.
Matthew Knowles attended the ‘To The Top Seminar 2023’ in Accra, Ghana, as a keynote speaker, where he was presented with this unique and exquisite timepiece inspired by his daughter, Beyoncé.
The watch, crafted by Anthony Dzamefe, the founder of Caveman Watches, is a fusion of art, fashion, and horology, and it took 504 hours, equivalent to three weeks, to create. The watch was named ‘Beyonce (BeeHive) Watch’ in honor of her dedicated fanbase, the Beehive.
During the event, the captivating video presentation showcased the watchmaking process, eliciting excitement from Mathew Knowles. Beyoncé was also informed about the creation and expressed her joy about the project. The watch is being delivered to her personally by her father.
The visual representation of the crafting process for the Beyoncé Caveman Timepiece has been shared on Caveman Watches’ platform and the Twitter page of its founder, Anthony Dzamefe, highlighting the craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail, and artistry needed to create such a unique timepiece.
This limited edition Beyonce Caveman watch pays tribute to the artist’s remarkable musical journey, inspired by her nickname “Queen Bee” and her devoted fanbase, known as the Beehive. It features intricate designs and elements that capture the essence of Beyoncé’s iconic performances and style.
The watch is the customised piece, a 1 of 1, handcrafted honeycomb inspired 24k Rose Gold watch case housing a meticulously crafted watch dial made out of 444 fallen Bee Wings with an African Cutout to reveal dancing tourbillon.
Mr Dzamefe emphasized that, “It comes with a Mink oiled, Handmade original leather strap. A masterpiece fit for a Queen.”
Mathew Knowles commended the craftsmanship and creativity behind Caveman Watches. He was intrigued and impressed by the artistry and attention to detail in this Beyonce Caveman watch.
He called the innovation, “The best brand story he has ever seen” and also appended Anthony Dzamefe “a Genius”
