The Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has alleged that the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, and his running mate Naana Opoku Agyemang, got married in 2012.
Chairman Wontumi made this allegation on Northern Go TV, but failed to substantiate it with evidence.
He claimed that former First Lady Lordina Mahama is being deceived by two NDC personalities.
Chairman Wontumi further alleged that Mahama and Naana Jane purportedly tied the knot after the latter divorced her husband of twenty years.
“In 2012, John Mahama married Prof Jane Opoku Agyeman secretly, I’m speaking the gospel fact, so they are husband and wife, they are not flagbearer and running mate, they are deceiving Lordina (Mahama’s wife),” he said.
