New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer and Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is massively campaigning across the nation, leaving no town, region, or village untouched.
This forms part of his extensive campaign efforts to connect with voters at every level.
A video shared on Twitter by National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) former deputy secretary Koku Anyidho shows a huge crowd with chants and drums cheering on Dr Bawumia during a campaign rally at Bimbila in the Northern Region of Ghana.
The vice president was captured reacting to accolades and cheering on from the MC of the programme to the loud chants of the people.
His new favourite song, King Paluta’s “Aseda,” which appears to be his current campaign song, was also being played in the background.
Koku Anyidoho in his caption, said, ” Bawumia in Bimbila. He is coming across as a go-getter who continues to remain very determined and focused on his campaign, not allowing himself to be swayed away from what he has to do. I keep saying that this type of campaign has nothing to do with GDP/FX rates etc”.
