Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife, Samira Bawumia, recently made headlines after being seen dancing spontaneously to a song by Ghanaian artist Guru.
This lively moment occurred during a rally for the Bawumia Youth Connect campaign in Kumasi, where Guru, known for his hit “Lapaz Toyota,” performed live.
As Guru entertained the crowd, Dr. Bawumia couldn’t resist joining in when the lyrics “Odo me de car no be ma wo” played, a humorous nod to his political ambitions as the ‘mate’ aspiring to be Ghana’s ‘chief driver.’
Second Lady Samira Bawumia and Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei-Mensah also joined the Vice President in dancing, much to the delight of the audience, who cheered and applauded their enthusiastic display.
