A seven-member jury panel has been informed that Safina Mohammed, a 23-year-old Level 100 Biological student facing charges of allegedly murdering her boyfriend, engaged in “kinky sex” where she reportedly chained him and exploited his “weaknesses” to carry out her plans.
Safina Mohammed, also known as Safina Diamond, has entered a plea of not guilty to the murder charges involving her Ghanaian boyfriend, Frank Osei, who was a resident in Canada.
During her opening address to the jury on Thursday, March 7, Senior State Attorney Nana Ama Adinkra disclosed that the prosecution intends to present evidence demonstrating that the deceased was restrained with dog chains.
Furthermore, the Senior State Attorney informed the jury that the prosecution plans to call nine witnesses, which includes another boyfriend of the accused and five police officers, to substantiate their case.
EIB Network’s Legal Affairs Correspondent, Murtala Inusah, who is present in court, reported that both the prosecution and the defense are currently addressing the jury.
