In the ongoing second round transfer window, Kumasi Asante Kotoko has officially announced the signing of former Hearts of Oak player Mohammed Alhassan.
The Porcupine Warriors took to their official social media pages to make the announcement on Thursday 9th February. Kotoko signed the experienced defender to strengthen their defense ahead of the second round of matches in the league.
The Phobians parted company with the experienced central defender by mutual termination in January
.
Over the course of his stint with the team, the 30-year-old defender participated in over 90 games for Accra Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.
Under Samuel Boadu’s management, Mohammed Alhassan helped the Rainbow club win a double, the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup, in the 2020–21 season.
He also made a significant contribution to keeping the FA Cup championship the following year.
Mohammed Alhassan competed for Ghana’s domestic national team, which defeated Benin and Nigeria to qualify for the CHAN tournament in Algeria in 2022.
