Angry youth pelt stones, broken bottles as they block Bawumia’s convoy from using road

Angry youth in an undisclosed location have reportedly blocked the convoy of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who is also the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), from using a road.

The incident, which was captured in a video circulating on social media, shows the youth pelting stones and throwing broken bottles at the vehicles in the convoy.

While the exact reason for the youth’s actions is unclear, voices in the video referenced the elections. Police officers were present at the scene but were unable to prevent the situation from escalating.

As of now, there has been no comment from Dr. Bawumia’s campaign team regarding the incident. The location of the incident has also not been disclosed.
