Prophet Nicholas Osei, also known as Prophet Kumchacha, the founder and leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, has attributed the low offerings in his church to the economic policies of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
In a viral video shared on the EDHUB page, Prophet Kumchacha voiced his frustration with the small amounts his congregation has been able to contribute.
Expressing his disappointment, he remarked, “Today is July 28, 2024, and we were not able to collect any significant offerings. Most contributions were in coins and 1 Ghana cedi notes. With these small amounts, it is challenging to sustain and grow the church.”
However, Prophet Kumchacha also showed understanding towards his congregation, acknowledging the economic hardships they face.
He placed the blame on the government for the current state of the economy, which he believes makes it difficult for church members to give more.
“I don’t blame you too much. I blame Nana Addo and Bawumia. The offering bowl contains mostly coins and only a few notes. The poor economic situation under this administration has left everyone struggling,” he told his congregation.
