President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has embarked on a two-day tour through the Savannah, Northern, and North-East Regions starting today, Monday, October 14, to engage with the residents and discuss the government’s progress in those areas.
Set to conclude on Tuesday, October 15, the tour will focus on showcasing the administration’s accomplishments and initiatives aimed at improving the living standards of citizens in these regions.
The visit highlights the government’s dedication to regional development and its ongoing support for local communities.
Aside from reviewing government achievements, President Akufo-Addo will also use the opportunity to campaign for his Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer for the upcoming elections.
The President’s involvement is expected to provide a significant boost to Bawumia’s campaign, as he rallies support from voters ahead of the December elections.
Several government officials and representatives from the presidency are accompanying the President, working together to strengthen the relationship between the government and the people. The team will emphasize the importance of community involvement in governance.
During the tour, President Akufo-Addo is expected to address pressing regional issues such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure development.
