President Akufo-Addo has endorsed the demand for the inclusion of the late John Atta Mills‘ autopsy report in official public records.
The inquiry into the existence and availability of an autopsy report verifying the cause of the former President’s death arose during a visit by the Odomaa Clan of Ekumfi and Koku Anyidoho to the Jubilee House.
The purpose of the visit was to convey appreciation for the government’s refurbishment of Asomdwoe Park, the final resting place of the late President Mills.
Kyedomhene of Ekumfi Asaman, Nana Enyimfua III urged the presidency to release the autopsy report to the family, emphasizing that 11 years have passed, and the family is yet to know the cause of death.
Professor Atta Mills passed away on July 24, 2012, at the 37 Military Hospital, just three days after celebrating his 68th birthday.
