Entertainment pundit and politician Kwame Asare Obeng, better known as A-Plus, has voiced concerns about the New Patriotic Party‘s (NPP) diminishing identity.

During an interview on Angel FM, he remarked that the party has become a subject of public ridicule and lamented the lack of ambition among some of its members to enhance its image.

A Plus directly criticised prominent figures within the NPP, including Akufo-Addo and Ken Ofori-Attah, attributing to them the responsibility for the party’s current state.

He accused certain members of prioritising personal interests over the party’s reputation, especially when facing criticism.
Comparing the NPP unfavourably to the National Democratic Congress (NDC), A Plus asserted that the NDC exhibits greater unity and coherence within its ranks.

“Some NPP members are not serious. Infact Akufo-Addo and Ken Ofori-Attah have made the party unrecognizable. They have destroyed the party,” A-Plus stated.
