The station’s owner, Ohene Kwame Frimpong, had reportedly organized a health walk in Agogo on Sunday, February 4, 2024.

However, security agencies intervened at the last minute, citing the Public Order Act and claiming that Frimpong had not properly notified the police about the public gathering and street procession.

The closure of the radio station has sparked speculation and discussions within the Agogo community.

On Tuesday afternoon, a crowd gathered at the station, seeking information about the unfolding events.
