Guinness World Records sing-a-thon contender, Afua Asantewaa has publicly defended actress Fella Makafui against criticism for her tummy tuck procedure.
Asantewaa argued that there is no issue with Makafui’s decision to undergo surgery, especially since it aligns with promoting her corset products.
She condemned those attacking the actress, urging them to think more carefully before making harsh judgments that could harm Makafui’s reputation.
Highlighting the importance of presenting an appropriate image for her business, Asantewaa stated, “As a corset vendor, it wouldn’t serve Fella well to maintain a shape that doesn’t fit the product. Would you buy a corset from someone who doesn’t look the part? It’s like buying skin-toning cream from someone with uneven skin.”
She emphasized the need for balanced criticism and thorough analysis before forming opinions. “It’s crucial to embody what your brand represents, which is exactly what my sister Fella is doing,” she said in a video posted by Express GH TV on their YouTube channel.
Asantewaa’s comments follow revelations by Fella Makafui’s estranged husband, Medikal, who disclosed the substantial expense of the actress’ tummy tuck surgery.
The couple has been in the spotlight due to marital issues, including Medikal’s displeasure with Fella’s decision to allow her cousin, Blessing, to stay in their matrimonial home.
