The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service, based at the Adaklu District Police Command, is actively seeking Kwame Ayew in connection with the death of his 40-year-old wife in Adaklu Tevikpo.
It is alleged that there were arguments between the deceased and her husband, Kwame Ayew, a few days prior to the incident.
Mr Ayew, identified as the prime suspect, had allegedly made threats against his wife during a previous domestic altercation.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, when the deceased, known as Maama, went to the farm accompanied by her teenage son.
Sadly, Maama’s lifeless body was discovered on the same farm later that day.
Philip Tetteh, a family member of the deceased, shared details of the incident.
Currently, the teenage son is cooperating with the CID in their investigation.
Despite efforts by authorities, Kwame Ayew has reportedly evaded capture for the past 24 hours since the tragic event.
