The 3rd Edition of the Accra Inter-City Homowo Marathon is now scheduled for Saturday, September 21, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The event was postponed due to unforeseen technical issues after it was slated to come off on August 3, 2024.
According to a statement from the organizers, Medivents Consult, those interested in participating can register by dialing 38021# or visiting the official website at www.accraintercitymarathon.com.
The statement also mentioned that a press conference is slated for September 10, where the organizers will provide comprehensive details about the event which would see race preparations, security measures, and prize information, among other updates.
Participants are encouraged to continue their training as they prepare for the marathon, which is an annual event that celebrates the Homowo Festival.
