Abiana’s EP, ‘Taste of Africa,’ leaves audience thrilled with its genuine and compelling melody

The highly anticipated “Taste of Africa” Extended Play (EP) by the talented female vocalist, Abiana, was unveiled through a vibrant live concert, leaving a lasting impression on the audience, who immediately began streaming the EP on various digital platforms.

Abiana’s “Taste of Africa” EP is a showcase of her distinctive vocal abilities, as she passionately expresses the authenticity of Africa’s rich sounds and cultural heritage through her music and performances. The EP comprises six tracks, including titles like “African Highlife,” “High,” and “Far Away,” garnering significant streaming ratios on various digital music platforms.

The positive reception of the EP is evident in the audience’s enthusiastic response during live performances and the numerous accolades received from music critics, turning the listeners into avid ambassadors for the “Taste of Africa” experience.

Abiana, in her remarks at the launch, said, “I am incredibly humbled by the response to ‘Taste of Africa.’ I expected to create an EP that not only celebrates the beauty of our music but also resonates with people from different cultures and backgrounds. The fact that it has been embraced so wholeheartedly is truly amazing.”

The concert kicked off with Raman, a talented contestant from Talented Kidz, delivering an impressive rendition of Abiana and TV3’s Ghana Most Beautiful Anthem. Surprising the audience, the young talent showcased a professional performance, demonstrating prowess comparable to industry elites in live band performances.

Following Raman, Ceilo Bee, the winner of Citi FM’s Voice Factory Season IV, graced the stage with a rendition of Abiana’s “Amen” song. Combining her beautiful voice and stagecraft, she captivated the audience.

Floewe from Eswatini added Southern African rhythms to the mix, setting the stage for a vibrant night. Rapper Worlasi followed, delivering compelling performances that vividly depicted the current state of the country in a parliamentary scene, exciting the crowd.

With the stage set, the main act of the night, Abiana, made a spectacular entrance, clad in a stunning ensemble that reflected her unique fashion sense. Thunderous applause accompanied her as she enchanted the audience with infectious energy and extraordinary vocals.

Backed by a 20-piece band and the Orchestra, including the Hyskuul Band led by the legendary Dan Grahl, Abiana’s performance, enhanced by lights and pyrotechnics, left the fans in awe. The crowd sang along to every word, reaching a crescendo when the legendary Okyeame Kwame joined Abiana on stage to perform the popular song “Bolgatanga Girl.”

The collaboration between Abiana and Okyeame Kwame was a highlight, leaving patrons eager for more. Trigmatic followed with a massive performance, prompting fans to dance.

The legendary Amandzeba Nat Brew then took the stage, delivering back-to-back hits like “Dede,” “Wor Gb33,” and “Kpanlogo,” igniting the dance floor. Abiana returned for her final set of performances, featuring her current hits “African Highlife” and “High,” leaving an indelible mark as one of Africa’s finest vocalists and performers.

Dignitaries and celebrities, including Millionaire Kenpong, Prof. Esi Sutherland Addy, Johnny Hughes, the manager of former Black Stars captain Samuel Anim Addo, and Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale-North, Alhassan Suhuyini, graced the concert.
