According to reports, a prominent Chief in the Gonja Traditional Area has passed away.
The unnamed traditional authority is said to have died on the dawn of Saturday February 4, 2023.
The late Chief was enskinned 13 years ago and has been leading his people and ensuring the needed development to brought to communities under his authority.
The bereaved family is said to be following the customary processes in accordance with the tradition to officially make the news public.
The unfortunate news comes as a shock to many barely a fortnight after the death of Lepowura Alhaji MND Jawula.
It is reported that necessary traditions are yet to be performed so his remains can be moved to Mankuma for burial.
