A 12-classroom block for your votes – Ken Agyapong tells Kintampo North residents

The Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, has struck a deal with the people of Kintampo North in the Bono East Region ahead of the December polls.

Addressing the residents on Thursday, September 12, Agyapong pledged to construct a 12-classroom block if they vote in favor of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He noted that, despite the residents’ repeated support for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), the party failed to provide significant assistance.

Agyapong emphasized that it is now time for the residents to back the ruling party to secure impactful development projects for the area.

He criticized the NDC for neglecting the constituency, claiming that this neglect has led to the sidelining of individuals from the area for important positions.

Agyapong highlighted the improvements since the NPP came to power, noting that Kintampo now boasts a Director General of Immigration and the Controller General from the Region.

“Do you know something, we have voted and voted but you don’t vote for NPP. For all the 32 years you have been voting you have just Deputy Minister in your constituency. Let me tell you something under Akuko-Addo government the Director General Immigration was picked from Kintampo. Controller General is also from Kintampo. If you vote for NPP, I will personally build a 12-unit classroom block for you,” he added.
