Brew-Butler wants State involvement at GFA as reforms loom

Former GFA Chairman Nana Sam Brew Butler believes government must play a key part in the running of football in the country as the Ghana Football Association prepares itself for reforms and restructuring.

FIFA is expected to name a normalization committee to aid in the restructuring of football in the country in the coming days after the government agreed to withdraw its petition to dissolve the GFA.

“I am happy to see Chairman of GHALCA Cudjoe Fianoo here.

“In the reforms, we will like to see the involvement of government in our football.

“Let us have the government involved and let us have the private sector involved, he stated.
