Pastor Love has strongly rebutted recent claims made by his ex-wife, Obaapa Christy, who denied his involvement in writing her hit songs.
In a recent interview with Kingdom FM, Obaapa Christy dismissed the notion that Pastor Love contributed to her music, arguing that both of them lack formal education and thus, it’s implausible that he could have been her songwriter.
“Just like myself, Pastor Love is not academically sound, so it’s a lie that he was my songwriter,” she earlier stated.
Pastor Love, who has been following the controversy closely, responded with intense criticism.
In a viral video, he launched a vehement attack on Obaapa Christy, hurling accusations and insults.
He challenged her musical credibility, saying, “Have you ever written a song before? I’ll keep insulting you for a whole month; if I’m not tired, I’ll continue. Village woman, unserious woman. You’re a curse. All these people who call themselves gospel musicians. Do you even live out the messages in your songs?” he fumed.
You’re nothing but a village woman and a fraud. Do you even practice what you preach in your songs?”
Pastor Love further accused her of exploiting him for publicity and issued a harsh warning: “Anytime you sing any of the songs I’ve written for you, you’ll die an instant death.”
