Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall artist Stonebwoy recently shared his thoughts on reconciling with socialite and video vixen Efia Odo.
The two mended their relationship during the All-Black Party at Ridge Condos in Kumasi, following a period of tension.
The disagreement arose after Efia Odo publicly backed King Promise for the 2024 Artiste of the Year award, a move that appeared to overlook Stonebwoy.
In an interview with MC Portfolio, Stonebwoy addressed the situation, acknowledging that Efia Odo’s support for King Promise was a result of her strong friendship with him.
He noted that her actions, while perhaps an overreaction, were well-intentioned, and that she later recognized her mistake and offered an apology.
“She was expressing her opinion, and it was clear to everyone on social media that she was advocating for a friend. She realized she had overstepped and took the necessary steps to apologize,” Stonebwoy remarked.
Stonebwoy also expressed his surprise at the initial conflict, considering his long-standing relationship with Efia Odo. He mentioned that their long history made the situation more unexpected but appreciated her decision to make amends.
“It was surprising. I’ve known Efia Odo for years, and we even talked about our past when we met again. I think she made an honorable move by apologizing, but it would be interesting to hear from her what prompted her to change her stance,” he added.
Stonebwoy suggested that understanding Efia Odo’s reasons for her actions could provide valuable insight and potentially reflect positively on him in the end.
