I don’t have time to campaign for NPP or any other party – Mercy Asiedu

Mercy Asiedu, a well-known Kumawood actress, recently made it clear that she has no plans to campaign for any political party.

In an interview with B Ice on Agyenkwa FM in Kumasi, which was monitored by Zionfelix.net, Asiedu explained that her busy schedule leaves her with little time to engage in political activities, including campaigning for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The actress also voiced her concerns about the neglect of the Creative Arts sector by politicians.

She emphasized that her focus is not on personal gain but on the future generations who would benefit from an improved industry, which she believes could provide more job opportunities for the youth.

With national elections approaching, Asiedu urged authorities to prioritize the Creative Arts sector and not overlook its importance.
