A truck transporting palm oil veered off course at the Winneba roundabout on the Kasoa-Cape Coast highway yesterday, resulting in a substantial spill of palm oil and significant traffic congestion.

Some people believed to be local residents can be seen on the site with containers and other vessels collecting the spilled oil.
Some of the residents were seen collecting the spilled oil into a bucket and storing it in water tanks situated right at the shoulder of the road.
