Communication member for National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kadevi Selasy, has allegedly committed suicide at Awutu Bontrase, Central Region.
Sources indicate that the 46-old-year old deceased was an Uber driver and also worked at a hospital.
He was reportedly due for a promotion at his workplace before this tragic incident.
Nai Gyanor, the Mporboahene (I) of Awutu Anim-Akubifa, reported that around 4 am, he received multiple calls about a suicide.
Upon arriving at the scene, he was shocked to discover that the victim was his friend.
Investigations revealed that the deceased’s wife had accompanied him to the restroom earlier, but when he needed to go a second time, she did not accompany him.
A few minutes later, she found that her husband had taken his own life.
