Over the weekend, key figures of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) joined Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for a fundraising event in the United Kingdom (UK).
The event aimed to gather financial support for the NPP’s campaign efforts leading up to the 2024 general elections, drawing attendance from numerous party supporters and leaders.
A video captured at the event, featured General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua and Ashanti Regional Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako (known as Wontumi), joyously dancing to Daddy Lumba’s “Theresa” alongside other enthusiastic party members, while Dr. Bawumia observed from the head table.
In preparation for the December 7 elections, Vice President Bawumia has been actively campaigning across various regions, engaging with diverse groups and individuals to communicate his vision and policies.
