Entertainment personality and politician Kwame Obeng Asare, popularly known as A Plus, recently took issue with broadcaster Kwami Sefa Kayi over comments made regarding Alan Kyerematen, the leader of the Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC).
The exchange started when Sefa Kayi questioned where Alan would select his ministers from, should he win the presidency, given the limited support base of his party.
“Where will Alan Kyerematen appoint his ministers from?” Sefa Kayi reportedly asked, as reported by graphiconline.com.
A Plus criticized Sefa Kayi on Facebook, suggesting that the broadcaster had received government funds for managing media responses during bank closures.
“He will appoint them from the same place you collected millions of Ghana cedis for government-sponsored damage control when banks were shut down.!”
This disagreement highlights ongoing concerns about Sefa Kayi’s perceived lack of critique towards the Akufo-Addo administration compared to previous governments.
The situation intensified when Sefa Kayi accepted a role in a state institution from President Akufo-Addo.
