Asante Kotoko has officially announced the departure of 11 players following the conclusion of the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season.
In a statement posted on their official social media channels, Kotoko confirmed the mutual release of several players from the squad.
Among those leaving the club are foreign players such as Kalo Ouattara, George Mfegue, Moise Pouaty, and Serge Eric Zeze.
Additionally, notable departures include experienced goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim, Isaac Oppong, Sherif Mohammed, and Augustine Agyapong.
The Porcupine Warriors endured a challenging season, marked by a series of setbacks that included a stretch of six consecutive losses, matching their poorest performance in 14 years.
Ultimately, Kotoko finished the season in 6th place with 49 points, having secured 14 wins, suffered 13 losses, and played to 7 draws.
