Real Madrid captain Nacho readies for Saudi move – Sources

Real Madrid captain Nacho Fernández is in advanced negotiations to join Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad on a free transfer, sources informed ESPN’s Moises Llorens and Rodrigo Faez.

With Nacho’s contract at Madrid set to expire on June 30, he is expected to depart the club for the first time in his career, barring any unforeseen changes.

An ESPN source revealed that Nacho had already decided to leave by the time Real Madrid secured a 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final on June 1, where he lifted the trophy at Wembley as captain.
