Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus has been ranked as the second most valuable African player in the world at the end of the 2023–24 football season, following Chelsea striker Nicholas, valued at 99.3 million euros.
The Black Stars’ standout player joined West Ham United last summer, transferring from Dutch giants Ajax after several successful seasons in the Dutch Eredivisie, where he had established himself as one of the league’s top talents.
In his debut season at West Ham United, Mohammed Kudus delivered impressive performances, quickly becoming a fan favourite and emerging as one of the most exciting young players in the league.
With eight goals and six assists in his first season in the English Premier League, the Ghanaian star’s value has skyrocketed.
Having been signed for 44.5 million euros last summer, Mohammed Kudus is now valued at 89.6 million euros.
According to the CIES Football Observatory, Mohammed Kudus is currently the second most valuable African player in the world, just behind Chelsea striker Nicholas, whose value is pegged at 99.3 million euros.
