Founder and Leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Nicholas Osei, better known as Prophet Kumchacha has called on Ghanaians to stop making unfounded accusations against Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as LilWin.
On May 25, 2024, LilWin was involved in a head-on collision in Amakom, Kumasi, involving his Benz and another vehicle. The accident led to injuries for LilWin and two other individuals and resulted in the tragic death of a three-year-old boy.
Despite his injuries, LilWin attended the premiere of his new film, “A Country Called Ghana,” at the KNUST CCB Auditorium later that same day. He was subsequently arrested and later released on a GHC50,000 bail by a district court in Kumasi.
During an interview on Onua TV, Prophet Kumchacha appealed to the public to refrain from harshly judging LilWin, asserting that the actor’s remarks and the accident were purely coincidental.
“I watched the video where LilWin suggested the movie might cause someone harm. I ask Ghanaians not to hold this against him.
“I’m not sure what was on his mind at that moment. But he’s a comedian, and he was joking. His statement and the tragic accident are just a coincidence.
“The public should show him some understanding and stop the unfounded allegations that he had used the child for rituals,” Prophet Kumchacha urged.
