Founder and Leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Nicholas Osei, widely known as Prophet Kumchacha has urged Ghanaians to avoid making baseless accusations against Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin.
On May 25, 2024, LilWin was involved in a serious car accident in Amakom, Kumasi, where his Benz collided head-on with another vehicle. The crash resulted in injuries to LilWin and two others and tragically claimed the life of a three-year-old boy.
Despite his injuries, LilWin attended the premiere of his new movie, “A Country Called Ghana,” at the KNUST CCB Auditorium later that evening. Following the incident, he was arrested and later released on a GHC50,000 bail by a district court in Kumasi.
In an interview with Onua TV, Prophet Kumchacha urged the public to refrain from judging LilWin too harshly, emphasizing that the actor’s remarks and the accident were merely coincidental.
“I saw the video where LilWin mentioned the movie might lead to someone getting hurt. I urge Ghanaians not to condemn him for this.
“I’m not sure what was on his mind at the time. But he’s a comedian, and he was joking. His comments and the unfortunate accident are purely coincidental.
“The public should be lenient with him and dismiss the allegations that he used the child for rituals,” Prophet Kumchacha stated.
