Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama praised the accomplishments of Afronitaaa and her dance partner, Abigail, highlighting their role in enhancing national pride.
Mahama commended the duo’s performances as a demonstration of the incredible talent and creativity of Ghanaian youth, advocating for their acknowledgment and admiration.
In a social media tribute to Afronitaaa and Abigail, the ex-President remarked, “You’ve given us another reason to be proud of our country, Ghana, and the talent and creativity of its youth. Go all out, Abigail and Afronitaa!”
Despite their aspirations to win the top spot on Britain’s Got Talent this year, Afronitaaa and Abigail secured third place in the competition.
They competed for the sought-after £250,000 cash prize and a prestigious spot on the bill of the Royal Variety Performance.
Britain’s Got Talent, with judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli, is hosted by Ant and Dec.
