Popular Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu recently visited musicians KK Fosu and Bless at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) following a tragic car accident on Saturday, May 25.
The crash involved KK Fosu, his colleague Bless, and freelance journalist John Claude Tamakloe.
The group was traveling to perform at a wedding ceremony in the Central Region when their vehicle collided head-on with a Mercedes Benz on the Accra-Apam highway.
The Benz driver had attempted to overtake another vehicle, causing the collision.
During his visit, Kwaku Manu expressed gratitude to former President John Mahama for establishing UGMC, praising it as the most advanced medical center in West Africa.
He commended the state-of-the-art facilities and excellent medical care provided, emphasizing the center’s importance for emergency and critical care in Ghana.
Kwaku Manu was accompanied by Isaac Abeiku Aidoo, also known as Goodies, the CEO of Goodies Music, along with three others.
The accident resulted in severe injuries for KK Fosu and Bless, both suffering broken legs, with KK Fosu’s injury being particularly serious. Tragically, the crash claimed the life of blogger John Claude Tamakloe.
