Musicians Wendy Shay, King Paluta, and Olivetheboy to perform at Ghana Party in the Park

Renowned Ghanaian international entertainment firm, Akwaaba UK has unveiled the initial lineup of artists for the upcoming 2024 Ghana Party in the Park (GPITP) edition.

Ghanaian music sensations Wendy Shay, King Paluta, and Olivetheboy are set to debut their performances at this year’s GPITP in London, hosted at a fresh venue. Joining them will be KiDi, Lasmid, Tulenkey, A Kmot, and the vibrant dance group DWP, with more acts yet to be disclosed.

Touted as the grandest Ghanaian outdoor celebration in the UK, this year’s festivities will unfold at the novel locale of Oak Hill Park in Barnet on July 13.

Anticipated to draw music enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds, the event promises an immersion into the rich tapestry of Ghanaian culture.

CEO of Akwaaba UK, Dennis Tawiah, expressed enthusiasm in a recent interview, affirming their commitment to delivering another unforgettable experience for attendees.

“Having spearheaded top-notch international events for the African community and beyond, we’re geared up for this year’s 20th edition of Ghana Party in the Park. Expect nothing short of magic,” he stated.

Tawiah hinted at a forthcoming second wave of artists to be revealed along with surprise guest appearances, while urging support from governmental bodies, private sectors, and industry stakeholders in Ghana and the UK to ensure the success of GPITP 2024.
