Legal practitioner Maurice Ampaw has issued a warning that he will pursue legal action against celebrity couple Medikal and Fella Makafui if they continue to publicize their marital issues.
In an interview on Onua TV, Ampaw expressed his concern about the couple’s influence on the youth, emphasizing that personal matters should be kept private to safeguard their young followers.
“If they release any arsenal about their marriage, I’ll take them to court. For these two, I’ll change the dynamics.
“They are two mature adults who chose to get married and they keep releasing information that defiles our children. These matters are supposed to be confidential, away from our young children who are not married yet. They can’t be allowed to be exposed to such content.” he said.
Ampaw also criticized Fella Makafui’s response to Medikal’s previous disclosures.
He asserted that she should have promptly taken legal action against him for violating confidentiality.
Ampaw highlighted the absence of legal counsel in Fella’s camp and advised filing a lawsuit along with an injunction to stop further public discussion of their marriage.
“Fella’s management and team lack legal advice. The best course of action would have been to drag him to court and sue him for breach of confidence as soon as Medikal started talking,” Ampaw advised.
Recognizing that obstacles exist in every relationship, Ampaw counseled the couple to continue cautiously while they decide what to do next.
