A 30-year-old man is accused of committing murder in a Belleville, Ontario home on Tuesday morning. He has been charged with first-degree murder.
The Belleville Police went to a house on Hasting Park Drive before 1:30 am.
When the police got there, they found a dead 26-year-old woman and a man with cuts on his wrists in the house.
The man has been accused of committing a very serious crime called first-degree murder. The police saw some things and found some initial information that led them to think he might be responsible. He was brought to the hospital for care and is still being held by the police at the hospital.
We are not giving out the names of the people involved until their families have been told.
The Belleville police are still looking into what happened with the help of their forensic team.
