Ghana’s Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, recently disclosed her fervent support for Premier League side Arsenal, surprising many with her football allegiance.
While her affection for football has not been widely known, she jovially admitted her admiration for the Gunners during a visit from musician OliveTheBoy and his team at her office.
During the discussion, prompted by one of the musician’s members, she confirmed her love for both music and sports.
Comparing her fandom to President Akufo-Addo’s allegiance to Tottenham, she proudly declared her affinity for Arsenal Football Club, highlighting her shared passion for the sport.
“His Excellency Akufo-Addo supports Tottenham, and we are Arsenal,” Samira Bawumia said.
Samira Bawumia’s remarks hint at her husband, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, also being a supporter of Arsenal Football Club.
