Five students from Apam Senior High School in the Gomoa West District of the Central Region are currently under custody at the Apam District Police Command for allegedly assaulting their classmates during a campus altercation over the weekend.
Reports indicate that one of the victims, who suffered a severe injury near his eye, is receiving medical treatment at St. Luke’s Catholic Hospital in Apam after sustaining a deep cut.

Currently, representatives from the Gomoa West Education Directorate and school authorities from Apam SHS are cooperating with the police in their investigations at the station.
Additionally, family members of the suspects have also arrived at the Apam District Police Commander’s office seeking bail for their relatives.
