D-Black is like a brother to me- Fella Makafui reacts to smoking saga

Ghanaian actress and socialite Fella Makafui has broken her silence regarding the rumors surrounding her recent visit to rapper D-Black’s club and the ensuing fallout.

The incident, which occurred in early April 2024, saw viral videos and photos circulating on social media, depicting Fella Makafui smoking a cigar with D-Black.

This action drew criticism from her husband Medikal, who publicly expressed his disapproval, citing it as disrespectful.

Despite the tension, D-Black showed support for Medikal’s London concert on social media.

However, this gesture was met with a negative response from Medikal, who labelled D-Black as ‘fake’ and used offensive language, triggering various reactions online.

During an appearance on the Daybreak Hitz show on Hitz FM on April 29, Fella Makafui chose not to delve into the matter, stating that there was nothing substantial to discuss.

She emphasised her respect and loyalty towards D-Black, referring to him as a brother and opting not to engage with the negativity surrounding the incident.

“Let’s not disrespect D-Black and his family. I don’t even want to channel my energy into this thing, you know, this whole thing. Because D-Black is like a brother to me. That’s my big brother. Come on. There were thousands of people in the club. I went there with my friends to chill,” Fella stated.

Regarding her husband’s reaction to a video from the club, Fella Makafui chose to keep her comments private, simply saying, “No comments.”
