African Games 2024: Dancehall sensation Stonebwoy set to perform at closing ceremony

The 13th African Games in Ghana will reach its pinnacle on March 23 with a spectacular performance by Afro-dancehall sensation Livingstone Etse Satekla known popularly as Stonebwoy, as confirmed by the Ghanaian star himself.

Amidst mounting anticipation from his devoted fan base, Stonebwoy’s participation promises to be a highlight of the major event.

The African Games commenced in Ghana with a star-studded night of musical showcases featuring top artists like King Promise, Shatta Wale, Pat Thomas, and Ebo Taylor.

However, the grand finale on March 23 will witness a thrilling closing ceremony after more than 14 days of intense sports competitions across various disciplines.

Following the widely acclaimed performance by Shatta Wale during the opening ceremony, speculations arose about Stonebwoy’s involvement in the competition’s climax.

Renowned sports journalist Dan Kwaku Yeboah confirmed on Peace FM’s morning show on March 20 that Stonebwoy is indeed the headline act for the closing ceremony.

Stonebwoy further fueled excitement when he responded to a fan’s inquiry on Snapchat, affirming his readiness to perform on Saturday, March 23.

This confirmation has sparked a surge of enthusiasm among fans, who have taken to social media platforms to express their high expectations for the much-anticipated showdown.
