Alphonso Davies has reportedly opted for a move to Real Madrid as his next destination, according to a report from Diario AS on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich’s sporting director has urged the player to make a decision regarding their contract renewal offer.

Davies’ current deal with Bayern expires in June 2025, which Madrid is looking to take advantage of by pushing for a discounted transfer this summer.

Bayern sporting director Max Eberl told Bild on Tuesday that “negotiations [with Davies’ agent] have been ongoing for a long time,” addding “we made Alphonso a very concrete offer. At some point in life, you have to say yes or no.”

AS reports that Davies is under pressure to renew his contract but is resisting, preferring a change of scenery. The next step involves Bayern and Madrid reaching an agreement on terms.

If they can’t agree, Madrid is open to waiting until 2025 to sign Davies on a free transfer, although this isn’t their ideal scenario.
