Four summer signings on Man United’s radar

Manchester United’s upcoming overhaul under new minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe may involve the acquisition of four new players, according to reports from The Daily Telegraph.

Sources disclosed to ESPN last week that United’s summer transfer plans include targeting a striker and a defender, with an emphasis on strengthening the overall squad.

The club intends to focus on players entering the final year of their contracts as part of Ratcliffe’s rebuilding strategy.

As per The Telegraph’s report, Manchester United is considering signings in multiple positions, including a striker, right-back, and right-sided centre-back, with a potential addition of a central midfielder.

ESPN’s sources indicate uncertainty surrounding the futures of several first-team players, including Christian Eriksen, Raphaël Varane, Casemiro, Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Victor Lindelöf.

Additionally, forward Anthony Martial, whose contract expires in the summer, is expected to depart on a free transfer.
