Apologize or face our wrath – Wayoosi to Martha Ankomah

Veteran actor Wayoosi has called upon Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah to issue an apology for her remarks against the Kumawood movie industry or else face consequences.

Ghanaian Actress, Martha Ankomah, who had kept a low profile for years, unexpectedly found herself in the headlines last week for an unfavorable reason: actor Lil Win launched a verbal attack against her.

Reports revealed that certain Kumawood producers had approached Martha Ankomah for a role in one of their films, only to be turned down. She reportedly declined the offer, citing the perception that Kumawood movies are of inferior quality.

In response to Martha Ankomah’s remarks, veteran actor Wayoosi expressed discontent, suggesting that it would be in her best interest to apologize for her comments.

He emphasized that her statement was disrespectful to actors in the Kumawood industry and urged her to rectify the situation by offering an apology.

Wayoosi further pointed out that Martha Ankomah’s comments not only offended Kumawood actors and actresses but also showed disrespect towards her colleagues from the English-speaking industry who had previously worked in Kumawood productions.

As of now, Martha Ankomah has yet to address the issue or issue an apology for her remarks, which were reportedly made in private but brought to light by Lil Win.
