Read Opanka’s heartfelt post below:

“Today, I lost my beloved sister and my unwavering support system during childbirth, leaving me shattered like never before. I cannot claim that all is well or that I am okay because, honestly, it is not well, and I am not okay. Although 2024 started with enthusiasm, the first month is not even over, and I have been broken into pieces by this tragic news. How can one lose their life while bringing another into the world? So many ‘WHY’ and questions I cannot comprehend. The world becomes truly frightening when you can be here with each other one moment and gone the next. The thought of never seeing my sister again continues to break my heart, and I am still in DENIAL. May God keep you safe wherever you are and forgive all your sins. I LOVE YOU MAMA 😭😭😭💔💔💔 Regina Affum.”
